Sometimes, painting feels like the closest I’ll ever get to lucid dreaming. When I look at this series of paintings, it feels like I’m looking into a dreamworld that I visited long ago. Waiting to be uncovered again, waiting for me to find my way through the mess and bramble and crowded thoughts until I discover the forgotten gems.
Born from a desire to navigate a chaotic mind in a chaotic and uncertain world, Dream Cartography blends fluid forms, branching structures, and layered textures to evoke dreamlike realms and liminal spaces. I see these paintings as portals—gateways to imaginary worlds and cosmic mysteries. Through intuitive mark-making and an evolving artistic language, Dream Cartography invites viewers to embrace the unknown and reconnect with their wonder and creativity.
